ABOUT US

Empire Customs specializes in streetbike and automotive collision repair and custom paint.

Empire Customs is owned and operated by James Bordelon and Jay Scheuren. Friends since childhood, we have long shared an interest in custom automobiles and streetbikes. In 2003, we decided to take our interest to the next level, and Empire Customs was born. Working from a small garage on Florida Blvd, the three of us worked our full-time jobs during the day while turning out collision jobs and custom paint for Empire Customs at night, sometimes into the early hours of the morning.

By the summer of 2006, Empire Customs had grown from a small side project to a full-time commitment. Operating from a full-size shop on 1634 N. Sherwood Forest Boulevard, the services provided had expanded from just custom paint and collision repair to include custom fabrication, lambo and suicide door conversions, suspension restorations, and basically everything else except interiors.

In October 2007, Empire Customs moved again, this time to a better equipped 6,000 square foot shop at 10334 South Choctaw Drive. We have temporarily refined our service to specialize in and automotive collision repair and custom paint. Motorcycle service will still be offered, but custom fabrication and door conversions will not be performed until further notice. The goal at this time is to streamline the company’s collision services and become a Direct Repair Facility for insurance customers, particularly for motorcycles. At the same time, Empire Customs intends to take custom paint to the next level in becoming Central Louisiana’s #1 provider of show quality paint, setting the standard for candy, pearl, and many other exotic finishes that are just now hitting the market.

After tripling in size in three years, Empire Customs is just now getting started. We want and appreciate your business, and invite you to stop by and check us out and contact us with any questions or concerns.
